Sr. Customer Support Engineer in Boston, MA

Our client, a steadily growing and expanding Boston-based international corporation is looking for a highly-motivated and skilled individual to join their team in the Sr. Customer Support Engineer role. The company is a global leader in providing solutions to manufacturers that increase innovation, expand idea generation, and shorten the time it takes to get products from the drawing board to production.

The Sr. Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for product installation, usage support, and configuration in a friendly, fast-paced environment. You will provide telephone and email customer support through pre- and post-sales technical requests. In addition, you will keep clients informed as to the status of their issues and work with Quality Assurance and Engineering to help the rapid resolution of the problems. The Sr. Customer Support Engineer will also assist customers in the installation, troubleshooting, and configuration of the company's software.
Experience: • 2+ years experience in software support
• Strong troubleshooting desire and ability
• Professional, outgoing, and friendly attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience and understanding of IIS, Windows, and MS SQL
• Experience with .Net technologies, Active Directory, and ColdFusion is desirable
