Solutions Consultant

Locations: Boulder, Boston, or St Louis

Functional Description:

ACS Wagers is the market leader in unclaimed property systems, with over two thirds of the state government market using our systems. We have an immediate opening for a Solutions Consultant. The ideal candidate will posses a good mix of client-facing skills as well as strong technical skills including system design, networking and database skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage system implementations and conversions
Manage client requests and issues
Assess client needs
Write system requirements and estimates
Generate system documentation for internal staff and system users
Assist in problem determination and resolution
Provide process and technology consulting to clients
Provide training to clients and peers

Experience: Qualifications
• 2+ years in a consulting role working directly with internal or external clients
• Experience deploying client/server and/or web-based applications
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills
• Strong database skills using Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server, including the SQL language and ETL tools
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows based technologies and networking
• Experience writing applications in any development language
• Experience managing small to mid-size projects
• Experience speaking in front of small to mid-size groups
• An ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities
• Bachelor’s Degree (or better) in a technology or business field

This position does require travel to client locations across the country, with trips usually lasting no more than a week, and amounting to roughly 35%.
