JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead and participate in developing the project’s Testing Plan. Implement the following actions:
1. All testing requirements are met,
2. Insure testing activities are performed and documented,
3. Errors identified through Testing Plan activities are corrected.
4. Collect and report Testing metrics for Contractor’s work,
5. Develop and maintain a contingency plan for adequate backup and recovery of testing operations,
6. Mentor and coach testing supervisors,
7. Conduct status meetings with testing staff.
8. Coordinate priorities and scheduling with Customer staff.
9. Establish assignments with due dates for test teams.
10. Monitor critical project dates for functional area – know work to be completed – develop more detailed schedules.
11. Understand critical project dates and recognize interactions between functional areas;
12. Facilitate smooth execution of the implementation.
13. Emphasize the importance of all levels of the organization operating as a quality-driven unit.
14. All other duties as assigned.

Experience: JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in IT
2. Experience: Success leading Testing process for Enterprise application projects.
3. Experience: Well versed in software testing methodologies, QA life cycle, and SDLC.
4. Proficiency in/with: Manual and Automated Software Application testing methods for the Web enabled environment - SQA
5. Experience: Testing of Java/Oracle based applications
6. College Degree: BS/CS or related field


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Professional experience: Testing Public Assistance Eligibility applications
2. Technical proficiency: Rational Automated Test Suite, Rational Robot; ACS @Vantage Framework; J2EE


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED A PLUS
1. Experience: Testing proficiency for Abstract conditions.
2. Management: Managed Test Teams consisting of five or more Test Engineers.
3. Professional Certifications: CSQA; Certified ISO Auditor
