The position is based in Boston MA.Requirements:- min 3 years experience in IT- advanced hardware/software troubleshooting skills- break-fix knowledge for desktops, notebooks - Windows XP, Vista, Windows NT4/2000/2003 Server knowledge (installation and support)- basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wireless 802.11a/b/g/n, DHCP, DNS)- installation and support for Active Directory (including GPOs)- experience with large desktop rollout projects (using Ghost, Live State)Pluses :- certifications (A , Network , MCSE, CCNA)- Linux/AS400 experience- break-fix knowledge for servers- experience with Dell hardware (desktops, notebooks and servers)- Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 & Outlook knowledge- Lotus Notes 6/7/8 knowledge- Blackberry/Treo/SmartPhone experience- Corporate Backups (Veritas, Symantec)- helpdesk process improvement experience- experience working with trouble tickets - experience setting up and maintaining a computer training room/classroom on a weekly basisPERSONALITY :- able to work in a fast paced corporate IT environment- very organized- excellent communication skills- able to function independently - responsible- sociable- proactive- team playerThis is a full time position-- not a contract or consulting position.
