Summary of Responsibilities: Ability to provide excellent customer service while investigating, evaluating and resolving claims of low to high severity and complexity, under routine supervision. Demonstrated working knowledge of Homeowner property claims handling under the full extent of the policy and claims processing necessary to enable independent handling of assigned claims. The position will handle claims from the office.Principal Responsibilities include: *Ability to appropriately apply knowledge of law, damages, policies, procedures, and regulations within assigned areas of responsibility.*Ability to answer questions and helps customers understand questions concerning coverage. *Ability to handle homeowner claims. *Ability to work independently, to solve problems within authority, or to recommend appropriate solution to supervision. Proven ability to multitask, simultaneously organize work, analyze and negotiate claims to a satisfactory conclusion, while processing high volume of work to manage pending.
