The Engagement Manager at Quaero would:
- Manage client relationships, expected to be $1-3 million annually.
- Participate in the sales process, designing the solutions to meet prospect/client needs, pricing, etc.
- Provide project/engagement thought leadership
- Actively produce work product, where appropriate, as part of project/engagement team
- Build relationships with client project/engagement sponsors
- Explore additional relationships within the client organization
- Educate client regarding the breadth of Quaero services (EMS, MPM and SB)
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Work cooperatively with MPM, Sales, Marketing and EMS Leadership to drive EMS and Quaero growth
- Potentially manage people from a mentoring and administrative perspective (optional, but preferred)
- Provide thought leadership to at least on EMS solution set (a.k.a., product/service offering area)--potential areas are Campaign design/planning; online marketing, real-time marketing, marketing process redesign
For the Engagement Manager Role we are looking for someone who has:
- 10+ years of direct marketing experience--at least 3-5 years working in a marketing department is very much recommended
- 15+ years of total work experience
- Deep understanding of direct marketing processes, including planning, design, targeting, creative, measurement and analysis
- Solid understanding of broader marketing discipline, including brand, advertising, e-commerce, marketing research--especially as it relates to understanding the effectiveness of customer contact strategies and measuring marketing investment effectiveness
- Experience managing relationships--either in previous consulting or agency role or managing third party relationships while working within a marketing departments
- Experience with how technology is used in direct marketing and marketing in general. Hands on technical experience at some point in career is preferred
- Solid business acumen, able to make informed business decisions, demonstrates information-based decision capabilities
