Oracle DBA in Boston, MA

The BearingPoint Public Services is currently searching for Oracle DBA consultants.

Relocation: no

Responsibilities: Key advisers to the DCMA CIO office and other production support staff. Support 24/7 operations--may be necessary to work on call. 24/7 production support DBAs, with training, skills and good adjustment to handle a variety of production database issues.

Qualifications:

-Seven or more year direct experience as Oracle DBA on Unix platform/Windows or Linux(Oracle 10g a must).
-Minimum five years of production 24/7 database support. Excellent trouble shooting skills with performance problems, data locking, database tuning, SQL tuning, etc.
-Previous experiences with Oracle 9i/8i are necessary.
-Strong with Oracle backup, restore and recovery with oracle RMAN. Good with cloning database. Database capacity planning and physical design optimization skills.

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule
