Energetic, Self Starting Systems Administrator in Boston, MA

London based consulting firm, a world leader in the life science industry, has a need for a full time Systems Administrator for their Boston office. Typical responsibilities will include: monitoring and patching approximately 30 Windows 2003 Servers as well as software running on these servers, support adds, moves, and changes on the various company phone systems and help with the migration to VoIP capable Intertel systems. This role will also involve training users on desktop software including MS Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat. Expect a good portion of your responsibility to be providing desktop support. Experience: * 2 years minimum experience with Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory. * Strong working knowledge on phone system support, Cisco networking equipment, and Backup Exec. * Willing to travel up to 25%. * Great communication skills and sincere ambition to further technical career.
