Our Client, a Premier Financial Services company based in Boston, has opportunities available on their high growth internal consulting team. This internal group provides a next generation of financial system technologies across many lines of business. Specifically, this internal group consults on enterprise-wide strategy, best in class applications, and implementation services. As part of a formal data quality program, the data modeler documents data models according to best practices in order to maximize the quality and timeliness of information while minimizing the duplication of data. The Data Modeler is responsible for the delivery of data model(s) that drives the deployment of robust, dynamic, and innovative technical applications that solve enterprise-wide business problems. The Data Modeler is responsible for structured client interview sessions, documenting business data requirements, and modeling that information to support technical solutions through the system lifecycle. Experience: *At least 5 years of logical data modeling experience *Broad knowledge of data analysis/database design technologies and tools in an operational/transactional environment *Strong Project management and or systems development background experience * Sybase PowerDesigner experience preferred. * Experience with Oracle application packages and Financial management or analysis * Strong knowledge and experience with a variety of query tools. *Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Economics, Finance, Information Technology, or Statistics.
