Systems Analyst in Boston, MA

- Specifically, the IT Analyst will provide project, coordination, implementation support, administration and client service of the following shared technology solutions including but not limited to: -- Business Availability Solutions- 24/7 Server/Network Monitoring & Management --IT Security- Intrusion Detection and Prevention systems / firewall management --Disaster recovery and business continuity --Business application - financial management, general ledger, CRM, etc. compliance, etc. --Strategic Vendor Cost savings partnerships - Microsoft CDW, Postini, etc -- Infrastructure - Shared email archiving platform etc. -- work with the IT team to define and implement quality assurance and reporting metric to measure the value add of shared services program. Develop key activity and reporting ot IT management team. --Work with member firms on training, support and enhancement of key shared services platform. --provide business application support and administration on key business systems. --Vendor due diligence and annual permonace assessments. --Documentation of process and procedures, including test plans, meeting minutes, training documetns, etc.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: -Knowledge of IT Systems Methodologies -Broad based IT knowledge across multiple areas including business systems, IT operations & infrastructure, applications development, security, etc. -Financia services/asset management expertise -3-5 years prior IT experience manageing or support delivery of IT solutions. -Proficiency in Microsoft Project, MS Office -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to collaborate with multiple project contributors -Positive, foward looking and strong solutions orientation -10% travel may be required.
