Help Desk Analyst 3 in Boston, MA

Our Boston-based client is seeking a customer-oriented Help Desk Analyst with 3 plus years experience to support their user base of both internal and external customers. This job is mainly phone and e-mail support. The Help Desk Analyst position is a minimum 6-month contract with the possibility of converting to permanent.

Experience: Qualified candidates for the Help Desk Analyst position should possess the following skills:
&#149; Solving third level technical problems that do not involve programming
&#149; Recording information into ticketing system
&#149; Excellent verbal AND written communication skills.
&#149; Ability to deal with upset customers
&#149; Ability to be resourceful on difficult problems / find answers to difficult
problems with minimal assistance
&#149; Must be team-oriented with a willingness to share acquired information
&#149; Commitment to get the job done

Technical Skills
Windows 2000, XP, Vista (a plus), Internet browsers, search engines, web downloads, solid networking knowledge and skills, knowledge of Internet security. MAC experience a plus.
