This position is located in Northern Rhode Island
Job Responsibilities:
In this highly visible role, you will work closely with the IS officer, security team and other IT support teams to insure a protected Information Technology infrastructure is maintained. The security specialist will advise leadership of potential security threats and mitigation strategies and review multiple metrics, correlate anomalies that impact multiple systems, determine root causes and implement corrective action. Selected candidate will analyze security environment, developing security measures for data to safeguard confidentiality and integrity of information. This role is approximately 80% project work and 20% support for implementation and assessment of IT security
You will work closely with managers to ensure all assigned team members have adequate resources and training for assignments.
