Summary

As Lead Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Client Systems Team. You will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis, testing, and project management for system initiatives and enhancements to a suite of client facing web applications and other strategic initiatives for Global Relationship Management (GRM) and Global Business Development (GBD). You should have strong project management and delivery skills as well as excellent analytical and communication skills as the position requires a high level of direct interaction with business users.

Duties/Responsibilities



  • Partner with the Global Relationship Management and Global Business Development users to define and document requirements


  • Identify and recommend appropriate tactical and strategic solutions that will meet the business needs of Global Relationship Management and Global Business Development


  • Take ownership for delivery of functionality, working collaboratively within the development teams to design, implement, test, and support systems


  • Participate in the development of project estimates and schedules


  • Lead teams of systems analysts and consultants on projects


  • Develop deep expertise in the systems, workflows, complex account structures, Datamart, and other data associated with Global Relationship Management and Global Business Developmen


  • Work collaboratively with information services and business teams


  • Document, track, and research production issues and work with the appropriate teams on the resolution of these issues



  • Work with business users to prioritize needs and ensure communication to keep them appraise of progress


  • Serve as a key point of contact for the business and IS teams

Experience: Required Background/Experience



  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline


  • 10+ years of systems analysis experience writing requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans


  • 5+ years track record in project management for medium to large initiatives


  • Understanding of relational databases and working knowledge of SQL


  • Technology experience in front, middle or back office operations in an investment management environment


  • Experience with the Rational Unified Process, or similar development methodologies, and with UML and Use Case methodologies




Major Pluses to have



  • Advanced degree


  • PMI Certification as a Project Management Professional
