Summary

As a Security Master Data Lead System Analyst, you will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis, testing, and project management for the applications that support the information delivery platform. These include the Investment DataMart, Enterprise Reporting, and Business Intelligence applications.



Duties/Responsibilities



  • Partner with business and systems teams across the organization to prioritize, define and document new requirements for information delivery


  • Champion the user's needs to the software and quality assurance engineers, insuring the "what" and "why" are effectively communicated


  • Assist in the design, testing, and support of the information delivery applications and their integration points


  • Work collaboratively with IS and business teams across Investment Systems, Trading, Compliance, Client Administration, and Infrastructure


  • Document, track, and research production issues and work with appropriate teams on the resolution

Experience: Required Background/Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related discipline


  • 7+ years experience as a systems or business analyst


  • Experience in Financial Services systems, specifically, understanding of the data requirements of the financial services industry


  • Strong Systems Analysis skills


  • Proficiency with security master data


  • Experience writing requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans


  • Mission-critical production support management experience


  • Experience in writing SQL commands and comfort in navigating relational databases




Major Pluses to have



  • Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence software a plus


  • Data modeling skills
