Software Quality Assurance - Unclaimed Property

We are seeking a qualified individual with proven experience in software quality assurance to develop, execute and report on plans and scripts to test complex solutions for clients under tight deadlines.

This role will report to the Software Development Manager and have all QA responsibilities.

Qualified candidates will have experience with the full QA life cycle as it pertains to systems solutions. This individual will operate with a team but also be responsible for driving quality into the development life cycle. The ideal candidate will also have experience in evaluating requirements for completeness and documentation of completed solutions. In this role, the candidate will need to learn the business domain quickly, may operate with some supervision and will be called upon to make critical testing recommendations including go/ no go decisions.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

? Act as lead Quality Assurance resource for IT projects in a rapidly changing environment

? Develop, execute test plans and scripts and track related issues for multi-phased projects

? Interact with development team through full development life cycle driving quality deliverables

? Coordinate activities with shared service organizations and counterparts at other sites

? Synthesize business requirements and develop System Integration test plans, User Acceptance Test plans, User Acceptance criteria and User Guides if required.

? Work with Development Manager to set up standards and processes for different project profiles



Qualifications

? 3+ Years of testing experience using iSeries / AS/400 platform

? At least 1 year of hands-on experience in developing comprehensive testing strategies and test plans

? Hands on experience across a full QA life cycle including Unit testing, Integration testing, User Acceptance testing, and issue management

? Comfortable in client settings interacting with development teams on time sensitive projects

? Knowledge of automated QA tools applicable for AS400 RPG environment as well as .NET environment

? Excellent written and oral communications skills

? Demonstrable testing experience with the following technologies

o RPGIV, RPGILE and RPG /free

o SQL

o Subfiles

o CL Programming

o .Net framework, C#, ASP, ASP .Net
