IT Director for High Profile Boston Non Profit in Boston, MA

Successful, highly visible non-profit organization located in downtown Boston is searching for an IT Director to manage their existing technology infrastructure and lead all aspects of technical operations within the growing organization. This is a high level role for someone with extensive experience in network and systems management in a small to mid-sized company, supporting multiple sites.

Primary responsibilities will include: network administration, project management, managing third party vendors, creating and implementing a disaster recovery plan, systems security, video and web conferencing support, handling internal customer service, and developing a long term growth strategy for the organization's IT infrastructure.

Experience: * 3-5+ years of progressive experience leading IT Operations and Systems Administration required.
* Previous Hands-on Windows Server 2000/ 2003 Administration experience preferred.
* Proven experience managing across multiple network sites.
* Strong Understanding of business operations.
* VoIP, Sharepoint, Sonicwall, and Cisco PIX firewall exposure preferred.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Bachelors Degree required; MBA, MS or equivalent degree preferred.
