As a Java Developer, you must proactively assist in the development of processes and applications for data retrieval, storage, validation, and reconciliation to provide exemplary service, efficient access, and accurate data for all users and systems that require it.

REPORTS TO: Software Development Manager

Duties/Responsibilities

Software design, implementation, and support for internal applications
Research and resolve production data issues
Load real-time, time series, and security master data into internal systems and databases
Maintenance of production systems and applications
Provide support and assistance to senior level developers
Special projects upon request

Experience: Required Background/Experience

1+ years of Java programming experience
Object-oriented design experience
Exposure to Transact SQL and relational databases
Basic knowledge of J2EE
Familiarity with XML, scripting languages, C++, ANT, CVS, JBoss Server, Unix shell programming, Linux, Windows

Major Pluses to Have

BS in Computer Science or related field
Understanding of the financial systems and markets
