Job Responsibilities:
Provides support of technical analysis for network systems, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems. Performs the installation, modification, testing, and servicing on all internal/in-house data communications network equipment. Conducts analysis and prepares reports. Assists in the recommendation for improvements and the development of technical standards associated with company network systems. This job role includes all network support roles, includes Telecommunications, Data, and Video technical support. This position will plan, implement and support the hospital's computer networks. Position oversees maintenance and operations of network routers and switches.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an enterprise Cisco networks.
- Excellent knowledge of Cisco Networks Switching and Routing Equipment and Operating Systems.
- Ability to summarized and subnetting IP addresses in a timely manner.
- Strong knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, particularly OSPF routing protocol.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and analysis. Some knowledge of network management protocol is a plus.
