Level 2 Technology Support Analyst in Boston, MA

One of our clients is seeking to hire a Technical Support Analyst (Level 2).

This position is responsible for providing critical technical support to users of PC and related desktop products. This individual should possess three to five years of experience in computer operations, PC desktop, and Help Desk Support. This Technical Support Analyst must be able to provide in-the-moment technical training to new and existing staff. We expect our Technology Support Analyst to be a strong communicator, to provide exceptional customer service, and to be an effective manager of time and multiple tasks.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
- Deploying desktop and laptop images using Symantec Ghost Enterprise
- Distributing software divers and updates
- End user support on Windows XP Professional and Vista Enterprise Operating Systems, MS Office 2003/2007, Outlook 2003/2007, PDA or Smart Phones, and more
- Responding to end user work orders (via Track It) on technical issues
- Providing timely, efficient and pleasant follow up to end user questions/issues
- Maintaining log-in log-out scripts with Script Logic
- Using Active Directory 2003 to deploy technologies and updates remotely

Experience: In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will have:
- Exceptional customer service skills and a strong willingness to provide excellent service
- Effective manager of time
- Efficiency with multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in a collegial team environment
- Ability to handle some light travel between our offices on average between 1 and 2 times per month
- A+ and MCP Certification
- Associate&#146;s Degree or higher in IS, CS or EE
- Dell DCSE Certification
- Hand-on Proficiency with:
o Windows XP Professional and Vista Operating Systems
o MS Office Professional Suite
o Norton Antivirus Corporate
o Symantec Ghost Enterprise
o Certification in project management and in relevant PC operating systems
