.Net Web Developer in Boston, MA

As a Mobile/Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing new web applications, mobile web applications, and web services, in addition to maintaining and enhancing our existing mobile infrastructure.They'll spend a good amount of time developing web portals that front many of our campaigns and/ or working on mobile websites (optimized for iphone).They'll also be working on the messaging platform, ie SMS, MMS, etc. Requirements: Design, code, test, deploy and document new server/desktop, web applications, and web services, utilizing the .NET framework Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing web applications, mobile web applications, and web services Work productively within a small team environment Develop software using best practices, including: naming conventions, programming standards, and appropriate design patterns Develop reusable components for use in rapid application development Build applications based upon changing business requirements Desired Skills/Knowledge: 3-5 years of experience developing web applications, mobile web applications, and or web services for a real-time production environment 3-5 years of experience developing within a .NET language, preferably C# Familiarity with advanced .NET 3.5 and C# 3.0 features (LINQ, Anonymous Methods, Extension Methods, Generics, Deferred Execution, etc.) A high-level of expertise with (X)HTML, CSS, and Javascript Web development experience using ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC Familiarity with various Javascript libraries (Prototype, jQuery, etc) MS-SQL Server experience, including maintaining, optimizing, and writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures Experience bringing software from design to deployment Experience testing and debugging software prior to deployment Experience enhancing existing production level software and re-deploying as necessary Experience with software Unit Testing Ability to implement software based upon existing design documents, processes, and procedures, in addition to creating new technical specifications Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the development team Ability to multi-task between both internal and client projects Familiarity with mobile technology a plus, but not required Familiarity with a number of other programming languages (PHP, Java, Ruby, etc) a plus, but not required Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL a plus, but not required Familiarity with SMS/MMS and mobile content delivery technologies a plus, but not required Education
Experience: 3-5 years of experience developing web applications, mobile web applications, and or web services for a real-time production environment 3-5 years of experience developing within a .NET language, preferably C# College degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent industry experience
