Position DetailsOur client is looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join their engineering team as we grow our online photo sharing and printing services to the next level. The candidate will design and develop applications for a high volume traffic site using the latest Web development technologies, and work with other engineers and the Web Production and Design teams. The ideal candidate must be fluent in modern enterprise and open source technologies, and must be able to apply these to a distributed system environment. A solid understanding of Web application technologies, databases, and performance parameters is a must. The ability to work independently as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.BEST INDUSTRY - ITBEST DEPARTMENT - IT
Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required. Masters Degree is preferred.5 or more years of experience developing Web applications with Java/J2EE Ability to work in a team environment and lead others Ability to multi-task Must be a self-starter with great troubleshooting skills 2 or more years of experience with Unix/Linux systems 3 or more years of experience with version control systems (Subversion, CVS, etc.) Experience with modern J2EE Web application frameworks Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL is a strong plus, but not required3 - 5+ years of experience with C++ and/or Java - working with Python is a Big Plus.2+ years of experience with SQL - working with Oracle is a Plus 1 - 3+ years of experience doing Internet development 2+ years of experience with Unix - Linux and Irix are pluses Working knowledge of HTML, Java script, Internet architectures is required Compensation73K - 100K
