We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to drive improvements in our overall client and server performance and the scalability of our application virtualization solution in state of the art corporate environments. Potential candidates for the position will have strong testing and technical expertise, good problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a fast paced team environment.



Responsibilities include:



· Working with Program Managers and development to design and develop the product and get it ready for millions of users.



· Delivering on test specs, test plans and other documentation.



· Providing actionable bug reports and generally driving quality of product and test code.



· Ability to effectively design, develop and maintain high quality test code and test infrastructure is key, especially as the team migrates to Windows test technologies.



· Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple outstanding tasks.



· Responsibilities also include providing leadership for test through coaching/mentoring as we grow and develop the team.



We need a highly self-motivated individual who can come in and starting enhancing and extending the test infrastructure in a minimal amount of time and successfully integrate it into the existing team's process.



To succeed in this opportunity qualified candidates must have a strong history of technical problem solving, have demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into user benefits, knowledge of product development processes, and ability to effectively influence and work with Program Management and Development is required. Candidates also need to show strong technical leadership, excellent project management skills, and good cross-boundary and collaboration skills in working with partners and customers. Qualified test leaders should be able to create and execute upon solid test strategies across many aspects of the product including integration / scenario level testing, and horizontal feature testing including security and performance. Strong knowledge of and experience with test automation techniques and testing tools is required, and knowledge of more advanced testing methodologies such as model based testing is a plus. A solid understanding of Windows architecture, programming, and debugging, overall engineering excellence and strong written and oral skills is critical. Strong coding skills in C/C++, experience developing software on Windows platforms, working knowledge of the .NET platform is required.



Other work and educational requirements:



· 3-5 years testing experience, preferably several complete product cycles.



· BS or Masters in Computer Science or comparable experience in the software industry.



· Experience working with SQL, virtualization technologies, client and server applications, SMS, and Active Directory is strongly desired.
