Our client is in a rapidly growing Marketing Software Vendor selling a hot technology into a marketplace primed for adoption. Picture yourself walking into Costco. As you enter the door you see on your cellphone personalized specials customized for you based on your past purchasing history. Our client offers electronic marketing technology which is integrated with their enterprise clients existing CRM systems to personalize their marketing efforts across multiple channels: e.g. on the web, via email, cell phone messaging or using IM.

Our client is a profitable, rapidly growing small firm.

We're looking for a project manager or professional services engineer who will have post sales or implementation responsibilities.

About the Opportunity- Professional Services Engineer

The successful candidate will work with our account managers and technical support personnel to insure successful implementation of our clients software. In this role you'll be responsible for the delivery side of the sales process. Your technical savvy will be the basis that we build our business on! Key responsibilities

- Implementation, and integration with customer software
- Demonstration staging based on customer requirements
- Convey new feature clients requirements to Product Management and Professional Services teams.
- Work with technical support and customer engineering staff to successfully integrate with the client environment
- Customer Profiling to assure business expansion based on your solid understanding of the Clients business needs

The position will require 50%+ travel domestically.

Compensation is dependent on experience; ranging from 100 to approximately the mid 100s

People/Business Skills
---------------------------------

- Marketing Expertise with Marketing Analytics, Bus Intelligence, Campaign software? Move to the head of the class
- Willing to travel within Continental US to clients site
- Software implementation Experience with off the shelf Marketing Software/ CRM, SFA, Portal or Business Intelligence Software preferred
- Prior customer-facing technical experience
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial enterprise software implementation experience in Fortune 1000 accounts
- Ability to understand customer issues and map high level business issues to the technical solution and to provide a roadmap for the customer's success.
- Prefer Prior small company experience
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

Technical skills

- Operating systems (Windows, Unix) configuration, administration, security
- Databases (Oracle, SQL Server) programming skills:
- SQL and Javascript savvy
- Web2.0 skills HTML, XML/XSL
- Common programming language usage
- Web Servers: Apache IIS
