Sr. Flash / ActionScript SW Engineer in Boston, MA

One of the fastest growing, most chronicled technology providers in the digital marketplace is seeking a dynamic Sr. Flash / ActionScript Software Engineer.



Responsibilities:

Design, deliver, and support a highly scalable system for insertion and delivery of Rich Media Content using the Flash platform. Contribute directly to all phases of development. Collaborate closely with other members of the engineering team. Work alongside experimental AI research. This is a unique and well-funded start up opportunity.



Requirements:

- Advanced knowledge of Flash 8/9, ActionScript 2.0/3.0 and timeline animation.

- Knowledge of how to interact with server side programming languages.

- Familiar with Flash Remoting Server, Flash Communication Server and Socket Server.

- Clear understanding of XML and how to interact with it in Flash.

- Ability to write clean and re-usable code and use existing code in packages.

- Knowledge of how to make things work across various OS and browser platforms.

- Knowledge of Flash Video, sound integration, filters, animations and transitions.

- Working knowledge of Flash components. Using, Modifying and Creating.

- Excitement to build something new and work aggressively to meet new goals.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Engineering, Computer Science, Design degree

- Desire to learn and excel in a fast-pace start-up environment.

- US Citizen or Permanent Residency Required.



A Plus:

- Strong design skill.

- Working knowledge of creative media tools such as Adobe Photoshop, lllustrator, etc.

- Experience in XML, JavaScript, XHTML, and CSS.
