Job Description:

The Supervisor of Data Quality will oversee the work of the data stewards and will work as a back-up for the Supervisor of Database Administration whenever s/he is out of the office or has a project on which s/he needs assistance. The Supervisor of Data Quality will be primarily responsible for the quality of all data being entered by the Data Stewards and will regularly monitor the database to detect potential problems, discrepancies, duplicates, incomplete data, and other types of quality issues and will disseminate work to and assign daily tickets to the data stewards to correct and remedy these quality control issues. or inaccuracies. The Supervisor of Data Quality will regularly analyze both the data quality and the efficiency with which the data is being processed, will serve as a resource for the data stewards and will develop all timelines related to data clean-up projects. The Supervisor of Data Quality will provide feedback to the data stewards regarding areas that need improvement and will put together training documents and implement individualized training plans to address any areas of weakness. The Supervisor of Data Quality will also be responsible for managing the overall teleconference process within the InterAction database.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



1. Responsible for quality control of all data populating the firm's CRM database and ensuring the data is as accurate and complete as possible

2. Regularly monitors and analyzes the work of the database stewards to determine overall efficiency rates and error rates for each of the data stewards; shares those findings with the CRM team; identifies problem areas and provides ongoing coaching, feedback and training to the Database Stewards to build upon and increase their technical knowledge of the CRM system.

3. Supervises the work of the Database Stewards.



Requirements:

Education, Experience and Capabilities:



* Bachelor's degree with a minimum or three years experience in database development and/or management, as well as project management.

* Must have solid analytical skills and be a problem-solver.

* Must have great research skills and have good logical and critical reasoning skills

* Experience in supervising and training others.

* Must be a self-starter with great attention to detail.

* Preferred experience in legal or services industry.

* Ability to work effectively in a culturally and educationally diverse environment.

* Must be able to organize, plan and work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, meet deadlines and be flexible in order to respond to shifting demands.

* Must be team-oriented and share information, goals and opportunities with the appropriate parties.

* Must be able to work effectively in a multi-office environment.





Knowledge and Skills:



* Good knowledge of contact management and CRM systems (previous experience with InterAction is strongly preferred).

* Good understanding of corporate structure (parents, subsidiaries, etc.)

* Solid knowledge of computer software programs such as MicroSoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

* Experience with Crystal Reports or Microsoft Reporting is a plus

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong writing, verbal communication and presentation skills

* Strong coaching, mentoring and teaching skills.

* Strong influence-management and facilitation skills.

4. Regularly identifies new areas for analysis that will lead to improvements in efficiency or quality of data used for teleconferences

5. Regularly conducts system-wide data quality queries in accordance with InterAction's best practices to determine the # of duplicates, # of incomplete records, # of unassociated persons and number of businesses without industry data

6. Analyzes various marketing initiatives and data (email marketing campaign results, mailing lists, etc.) to determine trends and/or problem areas; works with CRM manager to develop and implement strategies

7. Serves as a back-up for the Supervisor of Database Administration and performs the duties of the Supervisor of Database Administration.

8. Creates written standards around proper use, formatting, punctuation, etc.

9. Works on other marketing or business development related projects as needed.

10. Performs data entry and research of companies and individuals in the database.
