Business Analyst - Fixed Income (#8639191) in Boston, MA

Quantronix is looking for Business Analyst to assist in the data analysis and support relating to various fixed income and derivatives technology initiatives, including: integration of third party front office tools. integration of fixed income analytics engine. enhanced database representation of derivatives, enhanced data structure to support exposure look through. design and implementation of enhanced yield curve data structure. Responsibilities;- The ideal candidate will work on requirements analysis, functional specifications, systems and integration testing and documentation. -- Responsibilities will also include ongoing support, problem resolution and responding to ad hoc requests. - The consultant systems analyst will work directly with end users in the Investment Systems group, Investment Data Services (IDS) group, software developers and database architects in IS and software and data vendors.

Requirements:

Required Skill/Experience: Business Analyst with experience in the Fixed Income Markets, ideally with Fixed Income Analytics and Derivatives (Credit Derivatives. Knowledge of software development processes. Project Management Experience. Analytical/Problem Solving orientation. Technical ability, able to navigate popular business applications. Experience writing Business Requirements, Functional Designs and Use Cases. Experience creating and managing Project Plans. Working knowledge of SQL, able to write simple SQL queries. Experience with Yield Book and Bloomberg a plus. Thorough understanding of complex fixed income instruments, credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives and fixed income analytics a strong plus. SQL skills strongly desirable. Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment. Experience implementing or supporting fixed income/derivatives vendor systems a strong plus - e.g. Calypso, Markit, Charles River, LatentZero etc... CFA or demonstrated progress toward CFA would be considered a plus.
