Sr. Oracle PL/SQL and Reports Developer (#8639190) in Boston, MA

Quantronis is looking for a suitable candidate for Sr. Oracle PL/SQL & Reports Developer, who will be a member of the Equity Systems group. This PL/SQL Developer will contribute to the development of Oracle Forms and Reports as well as to PL/SQL development projects. The candidate will participate in all parts of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis, to design, implementation and release. The candidate will leverage past development experience and will be responsible for the maintenance and development of Oracle Forms and Reports. The candidate will fine-tune the performance of the SQL and PL/SQL code base and application specific tables.

Requirements:

Qualified applicants must have strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills, excellent SQL tuning skills and communications skills. Candidates must be willing to work in an energetic, fast pasted and team-oriented development environment. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a necessity. Activities include requirement analysis, design and implementation of Oracle Forms and Reports and PL/SQL packages. Additional qualifications include: Minimum 5 years experience as an Oracle Database Developer. Excellent SQL and SQL tuning experience. Strong PL/SQL programming skills. Proven record of accomplishment working with development teams to provide stored procedures, views and functions to support application development. Experience with Unix and shell scripting. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills.
