IT Support Engineer (Help Desk) in Boston, MA

72103 Great opportunity to join a stable financial services company in Boston. They are looking for a candidate with a strong technical support background that can handle help desk calls, some in-person support and act as a back-up to the network administrator.

Provide 1st level IT support to the staff in the following areas:

Troubleshooting End-User connectivity and application problems.
Execute computer and phone system deployment.
Assist the End-Users with email delivery analysis and remediation.
Perform routine printer and copier maintenance.
Problem escalation.
Participate in data organization and data cleanup activities.
Participate in software license compliance and computer system inventory.
Regularly check PBX alarm status.
Server log monitoring.

Specific Skills/Knowledge:

Windows 2000/2003.
Active Directory.
Exchange.
SQL Server.
PBX phone systems.
Programming experience would be great.
