Learning Technology & Measurement Coordinator in Boston, MA

We are currently seeking a Learning Technology & Measurement Coordinator to support Eclipsys University. Candidates should have the following skills and will be based in either our Atlanta, GA or Boston, MA office.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages the day-to-day and ongoing operation, maintenance, support, usage, analysis and administration of existing technology
  • Performs system operation, design, maintenance and administration of existing learning technologies
  • Performs database maintenance and administration tasks
  • Oversees system analysis and improvement efforts
  • Partners with MIS to support application integration
  • Serves as primary contact to learning technology vendors
  • Develops and maintains employee portals and access points for ease of use and user friendliness by the appropriate end user for the learning management system (LMS) and the web conferencing tool
  • Provides training, support and technical assistance to end users.
    Participates on the learning technology planning team to support the activities of assessing existing technologies; evaluating, proposing and selecting new technologies; and implementing solutions in a phased approach
    Supports the delivery of online learning efforts for EU and other business units as needed and supports other team efforts as requested.
  • Manages web conferencing learning events directed by Eclipsys University
  • Creates sessions according to team initiatives and communicates meeting details.
  • Serves as back-up host and/or provides assistance as needed in customer or employee web-based sessions.
    Supports learning measurement and reporting functions
    Performs administrative functions
  • Configures new person and course records within the Learning Management System
  • Creates new registered user accounts within the Web-Conferencing application

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    Knowledge of web conferencing applications
  • Competence in at least one major web conferencing tool (Centra, WebEx, Interwise, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web conferencing event management and facilitation
  • Experience with VOIP (Voice over Internet) Audio in a web conference tool
    Knowledge of learning management system tools
  • Competence with at least one major LMS or LCMS application (SumTotal, Saba, Docent, etc.)
  • Familiarity with industry standards (SCORM, AICC, etc.)
    Knowledge of publishing, communication, and report tools preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications
  • Competence in Crystal Reports or other report generation tool
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server database technology
  • Competence in Windows operating system commands, practices and procedures
  • Ability to create and modify web pages through HTML or FrontPage
    Communication and Facilitation Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders across all levels
  • Interpersonal support service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and partner with vendors to achieve desired outcome
  • Ability to resolve conflicts tactfully but effectively

  • Knowledge of current and emerging trends
  • Knowledge of current limitations of certain types of technology
  • Knowledge of vendors and their standing in the industry

  • Ability to estimate effort, identify issues that impact deadlines, resolve; escalating when appropriate
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines within a changing environment
  • Ability to develop, analyze and improve documented processes and procedures.
    Technology evaluation Experience: Job Entry Requirements:

    Required Education:
    Bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred; or equivalent.

    Required Experience:
    ? Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and projects in a changing environment
    ? Two or more years as a system administrator or analyst function for a learning system or web-conferencing technology with experience using, deploying, administering and/or managing the system
