Position Summary: Key organizational IT position manages all current and future IT contracts and vendor relationships, currently estimated with fifty active IT vendors. Responsibility of managing pre and post contract negotiations including RFP, contracts development and contract amendments. Responsible for purchasing software, hardware, software integration, IT Services and consultant services. Responsible for managing two direct resources. Key Accountabilities: ? Manage the current IT Vendor and Outsource Contract Portfolio; $160M annual, 50 plus vendors ? Manage and research vendors (products and services) and project lead all IT RFI/RFP vendors ? Manage the Purchasing function of all IT procurements ? Proactive Vendor Relations activities ? Develop and manage day-to-day the IT Enterprise-Wide contract database ? Responsible for managing timely all the related contract development, execution, and implementation processes and related status management ? Manage the IT support area contract administration and reimbursement functions ($150M annual) ? Manage and coordinate all day-to-day IT contract activities with corporate legal department ? Develop and manage the IT support area Contract Business Plan ? Track and follow-up on the status of all contracts, and investigate and resolve related disputes or issues ? ?Provide leadership, direction, guidance and support to project manager, technical staff, and administrative staff ? Interface with legal counsel on matters requiring legal review Challenges/Problem Solving: ? Insure that all contracts are complete, accurate and legally feasible. ? Manage the RFP process to insure a clearly written, easy to understand document will be delivered to vendors in a timely manner. ? Work with multiple Project Mangers working on multiple projects to keep up-to-date on RFP requirements. ? Keep team of business owners and IT Project Mangers involved or aware of all contract negotiations. ? Submit change orders and amendments to contracts in a timely manner. ? Review and negotiate all SOW's to insure they relate back to the contract. ? Seek legal assistance in contact negotiations. ? Strive to lower average rate of consultant resources. ? Implement a departmental-approved change in the process of hiring consultants, which includes educating both internal and external team members. Position Title: Senior IT Contracts Manager (cont.) ? Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions ? Identify risks and issues and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution ? Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc ? Manages daily workload of direct personnel ? Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly ? Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance ? Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the contract negotiation engagement Decision Making Authority: ? Authority to negotiate business terms and conditions of IT contracts and procurement of IT services, vendor resources, hardware and software. ? Manages day-to-day reimbursement for all IT vendors ($160 million). ? Authority to determine purchase order award to participating vendors. Leadership Responsibilities: ? Manage the IT Contact Business Unit. ? Required to supervise Contract Management professionals, project staff, or other business personnel in a functional expertise manor only during contract negotiations.
