Experience: Boston based online company looking for a graphic designer with 2+ years experience to cover a maternity leave starting Sept 1st. Will need candidate to cross train for 2 weeks prior. Position will entail 60% print design and 40% web, working on a variety of collateral including, but not limited to: website development and maintenance, tradeshow collateral, magazine advertisements, brochures, flyers, catalogs, promotional mailings, email promotions, affiliate marketing, brand /identity development. This designer must have a clear understanding of web design best practices, usability and functionality. Must be able to design and code your own work in HTML and/or Dreamweaver. Must be able to provide design/production insight to outside departments. Must be able to communicate with &#147;non-designers&#148; and guide the process towards a successful end product and have a strong command of page layout, as well as the ability to communicate with printers effectively. Must be proficient in the Adobe Creative suite, HTML and Dreamweaver. Looking for someone with corporate samples in their portfolio.
