Java Swing Developer (#8694463) in Boston, MA

Quantronix is looking for Java Swing Developer to work at our Client's site. Our client is a very large Investments firm, handling over $ 500 Billion in assets. This Java SWING Application Developer will contribute to the design, development and testing of a new Trading System. Qualified applicants must have strong object-oriented development skills, UI design experience and excellent communications skills. Individuals must be self-motivated, willing to work in an energetic, fast-paced and team-oriented development environment. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a necessity. Daily Activities: Activities include but are not limited to: contributing to design sessions, coding, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, supporting beta testing, bug fixes and documentation.

Requirements:

Requred Skill/Experience: ? Minimum 2 years experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. ? Minimum 4 years experience in JDK 1.3, 1.4, 1.5. ? Minimum 2 years experience in SWING 2.0. ? Minimum 1 years experience in Widget development. ? Minimum 3 years experience in iterative development cycle. ? Minimum 2 years experience in UML. ? Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle 8i or Oracle 9i is desirable. ? Experience in Financial System/Trading Applications is desirable. Education/Experience: - A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
