Senior Business Analyst - Currency management (#8708322) in Boston, MA

Quantronix needs a Senior Business Analyst to work at our Client's site. Our client is a large investments firm, handling over $ 500 Billion in assets. This Sr.Business Analyst will be part of the Investment Systems team providing business analysis for the Portfolio Manager Workstation (PMW) project. PMW is the decision-support platform by which Equity and Currency Portfolio managers propose and submit trades. This individual will be responsible for working with the PMW project team and investment professionals to analyze and document requirements for future application enhancements to PMW, with a focus on currency management capabilities. Responsibilities: -Interact with investment and technology professionals at all levels of the organization to proactively identify opportunities for new/improved functionality within the portfolio management application. -Collect, document and facilitate implementation of functional requirements, ensuring collaboration amongst the development and QA teams. -Assist with testing, issue tracking and deployment. -collection and documentation of user requirements, interfacing with the development team through design and development, testing, and post-deployment user support.

Requirements:

Required Skills/experience: -Minimum 5 years experience in investment processes, currency management, securities, analytics and market data services. -Minimum 3 years experience in business analysis, requirements specification, and user acceptance testing for large financial systems initiatives with specific work on buy-side portfolio management, order management and decision support systems. -Minimum 5 years in Excellent verbal and communications skills with particular emphasis on writing. Note: A bachelor?s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in the investment industry is required.
