Senior HR DATA Analyst/Developer (PeopleSoft HRMS - Oracle) in Boston, MA

Quantronix is looking for Senior HR DATA Analyst/Developer (PeopleSoft HRMS & Oracle)to work at our client site. Our client is a very large Healthcare Company. The Senior HR Data Analyst cum Developer with PeopleSoft HRMS & Oracle RDBMS expertise will provide analytical support, write complex queries, do some web development and work in the data warehousing environment in order to support 3 LARGE Business User communities. Human Resources Operations Responsibilities: ' Presents technological and software options that address users and/or data reporting needs. ' Provides comprehensive training on newly created tools/programs either through classroom, web-based or written training. Follows up after training to ensure users understand the product or procedure and are using it correctly. ' Creates and maintains complex reports and/or web pages for internal HR staff and/or authorized users. ' Creates, tests and maintains internal databases as requested by Directors or Managers. (i.e. internal tracking databases etc.) Documents functionality and procedure manuals for all internal/'home grown' applications. ' Plans and coordinates projects within specific timeline to achieve departmental objectives. ' Creates and maintains process documentation as it relates to reporting and data integrity. ' Maintains and/or creates HR web pages related to Dashboard Reporting Self Service, user training documentation etc. Data/Analytical Responsibilities: ' Works with Operations Manager to develop, design and maintain best practice/approach to reporting HR metrics in order to ensure scalability. ' Acts as a liaison between departments that own and/or provide required data feeds for dashboard reporting (i.e. finance for position control, PHS for applicant tracking info etc.) Validates data to ensure integrity and/or identify omission criteria issues. ' Identifies missing required data (i.e. it is not currently captured or consistently captured) and works with appropriate group to address the issue. Presents recommendations for solutions to Operations Manager. ' Ensures that data in dashboard system or other database is updated regularly. ' Develops and maintains dashboard procedures and documentation manuals. ' Develops and documents a standardized reporting and criteria selection protocol for all reporting needs. ' 3-6 years of data analysis and complex statistical reporting required. ' Understanding of basic accounting functions such as General Ledger and/or position control. ' PeopleSoft HRMS and Oracle (or other large complex relational database experience) expertise are required. ' VB experience is preferred. ' Understanding of data analysis and statistical reporting required. ' In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as MS Access (must be a 'power user'), Excel, PowerPoint, publisher etc. ' In depth understanding of relational databases required including SQL queries. ' Experience developing basic web pages and or experience with web technology. ' Experience with Peoplesoft HRMS 8.x and experience running complex queries in PS query tool/winclient and MS Access. ' Project management skills are a must. ' Ability to work independently and as a member of a group. ' Excellent communications abilities -- written, verbal and public speaking. ' Experience handling high volume, multiple tasks and a wide range of customers. ' Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in business or technology related field preferred.
