Application Developer (.NET Contract to Hire) in Boston, MA

Our Client has the requirements and specifications for an Expense Processing System and is looking for a strong .net developer for architecting and developing the application. Essentially the system will handle all Vendor Payments and Employee Reimbursements. It is going to be a web based system with work flow and approval rules built in. The application is going to be developed in C# and asp.net primarily, with SQL Server 2000 backend. A subset of the project will be to migrate all their internal applications over to SQL server 2005 and this process will start sometime in September. In addition they are considering developing/migrating the Expense Processing System from .net 1.1 and SQL server 2000 over to .net 2.0 and SQL Server 2005.

Experience: , The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience as a Web/Application Developer. The position requires previous experience analyzing and developing applications using ASP.NET C# and MS SQL Server expertise. Any experience with system architecture, project management or previous experience with migrating from the .net framework 1.1 to 2.0 / SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005 is a plus.
