Major Responsibilities: ? Develop a Master Test Plan or Strategy document establishing the testing objectives and strategies for applications in all environments, working with the Project Management Team, the Vendors, the internal technical support and the Business Areas, to ensure the successful implementation of the business requirements. ? Ensure application acceptance by managing developers through the system/integration testing, Business Areas through the User Acceptance Testing, the Test Automation Team through regression test development and Load and Stress Testing. ? Work with the Project Management Team to develop timelines for the development of the Testing Strategy, Testing Plan Activities, and the Release Delivery Schedule. ? Develop defect management workflows using Quality Center, test reporting metrics, and facilitate scheduled status meetings. ? Assist the Project Manager in the identification of risks, risk management, and risk mitigation to ensure a successfully tested application. ? Provide testing guidance for approaches to User Acceptance Testing, Use Case development, test plan and test case development, and regression test plan development. ? Full authority in determining when a jeopardy project should be highlighted as 'yellow light' or 'red light' and when to advise senior management of such situations. ? Full authority to advise when an application can or cannot be moved to the next test environment. ? The final decision to move to Production is not decided by this position however this position can offer a recommendation when requested and will act as the Gatekeeper to ensure the correct decision is made. Qualifications: (Knowledge, skills and abilities) ? Strong knowledge of testing approaches and concepts, quality management, metrics management, testing tools (Mercury Interactive), software configuration management, build management/version control procedures, change control procedures, and issues management. ? Strong knowledge in general health care, , e-Commerce web design and development, client server and data warehouse environments and concepts. ? Ability to multi-task working both independently and in team environments ? Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to work in a collaborative environment ? High standard of performance, attention to detail and commitment to excellence ? Operational knowledge and ability to work on multiple, complex projects simultaneously. ? People management for motivation and cooperation on projects. ? Strong analytical and PC skills including MS Office and MS Access General: v 5-10 years QA/ analytical experience v Minimum of 5 years QA Test Lead v Some Business Analysis a Plus.
