SAP FI/CO Applicaion Analyst in Boston, MA

Job Function/Purpose
The SAP Application Analyst's role is to analyze, plan, design, develop, and launch efficient SAP
Financial/Controlling (FI/CO) systems in support of core organizational functions and business
processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects,
and systems requirements.

Principle Activities/Duties
1. Analyze, plan, design, develop, and launch efficient SAP Financial/Controlling (FI/CO) systems in
support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and
analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
2. Responsible for generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable
causes and possible solutions to systems issues, recommended improvements to - or new
requirements for - business processes and operational procedures.
3. Responsible for full customizing, configuring and testing the interoperability of application modules,
specifically the SAP FI/CO module while adhering to the Change Management, Configuration
Management and System Design Life Cycle (SDLC) guidelines.
4. With minimum supervision, applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to
help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to
specifications.
5. Acts as focal point for all FI/CO issues group-wide and works with small team of other focal points.
6. Trains end-users where applicable.
7. Maintains a current awareness of information technology.
8. Provides status updates regarding project activities as required by IT Management.
9. Participates in the Quality Improvement Process
10. Travel required.
Experience: 7 - 10 years of progressive work experience Experience in corporate accounting and/or information systems or business process experience. SAP development and deployment is critical. Advanced understanding of complex accounting systems Thorough knowledge of SAP processes and systems and at least one prior systems deployment. Must be highly organized and capable of coordinating multiple and highly complicated subprojects Must possess skills in strategic thinking Candidate must have the ability to interface between technical disciplines and management Relationship building skills such as influencing, motivating, and negotiating skills To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
