Lead/Senior Business Systems Analyst (#8708296) in Boston, MA

Quantronix is looking for Senior Business Systems Analyst to work at our Client's site. Our client is a very large Investments firm, handling over $ 500 Billion in assets. Lead business systems analyst on Equity Lookthrough project team. Project team will deliver highly sophisticated decision support and analysis product to asset allocation portfolio management team. Key system feature is rich representation of derivative securities and analytics along n-dimensions with ability to drill-down to inspect underlying assets and constituents. Daily Activities: Working with the technical lead, engage portfolio management teams to determine business requirements, specify all aspects of lookthrough business capabilities (data, calculations, views) and create test cases for product delivery. Position requires high degree of collaboration and coordination and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

* 7 years in a Very strong equity and commodity derivative instrument knowledge. * Minimum 5 years experience in Facile with calculations and interpretation of price, exposure and risk characteristics of equity and commodity derivatives. * Required 5 years Ability to examine complex relational database structures and representations; requires hands-on SQL skills. * Minimum 5 years experience with Robust ? not voluminous - business requirement, functional specification and test plan documentation. * 2 years Prior experience with sophisticated reporting systems and OLAP tools. Education/Experience: * Advance degree or certification in finance, financial engineering or the like.
