PeopleSoft Financials Functional Analyst (#8705157) in Boston, MA

The Sr. Functional Analyst will be supporting PeopleSoft Financials Production environment, particularly the functional processes associated with Project and Contract setup, Invoice creation and Accounts Receivable modules. Responsibilities: Responding to helpdesk questions by identifying solutions and working with system users to resolve users. Documenting procedures and common resolutions; contributing materials to our knowledge-sharing repository. Designing identified system improvements and controls to enhance customer satisfaction, and mitigate chronic system problems causing repetitive trouble tickets. Maintaining, updating, and creating PeopleSoft application fixes, configuration, specifications and testing. Testing PeopleSoft application updates and fixes, patches, legal changes and configuration updates. Mentoring colleagues and our user community by sharing knowledge helping others resolve issues. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Applications implementation or functional support. 3+ years experience in a PeopleSoft Financials environment using the following modules: AR, Billing, Contracts, and Projects. 3+ years experience troubleshooting integration between PeopleSoft Projects, Contracts, AR, Billing and other PeopleSoft Modules such as Expenses, AP and GL. 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft functional analysis and design, specification development, and testing for application enhancements and fixes. 2+ years experience using PeopleSoft PS/Query, nVision, Crystal and a SQL tool. Understand importance of structured, controlled production environment. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, and client-facing experience is a plus. Candidate must be self-motivated, assertive while possessing the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment. Experience in the Services industry a plus. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, MIS, or any related field.
