Senior Systems Analyst (#8847844) in Boston, MA

Quantronix is looking for Senior Systems Analyst to work at our clients' site. Our client is a very large investment firm handling over $500 billion assets. The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing and delivering the implementation of technology solutions to support the business needs of our client's Corporate Operations department. This includes deliverables throughout the systems development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, functional specifications, systems and integration testing and documentation. Duties will also include ongoing support, problem resolution and responding to ad hoc requests. The Senior Systems Analyst will work directly with end-users in the Corporate Operations group, software developers and database architects in IS and software and data vendors. Demonstrated experience in supporting business professionals in the investment services industry is essential. The Senior Systems Analyst must also be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments, always with a focus on delivery and exceeding our clients? expectations. This individual will have a high-profile position and will report directly to the Director of Compliance and Control Systems.

Requirements:

? 7 years or more experience in a systems role supporting business professionals in an investment organization. ? Demonstrated track record throughout the systems lifecycle, with proven expertise in the analysis, delivery and support of major applications. ? Strong all-around project management/project methodology skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. ? Strong understanding of software development practices ? Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong client relationship skills. ? Highly self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, taking initiative as necessary. ? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field is required. ? An MBA, CFA or working towards these would be considered a plus.
