APPLICATIONS PROJECT SPECIALIST in Boston, MA

Primary Responsibilities: The Applications Project Specialist is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure appropriate systems support of all business applications. This support includes software package modifications, systems integration, databases, and systems maintenance. The Applications Project Specialist will be responsible for leading projects. " Plan, execute, and test business application updates and enhancements into existing systems. " Ensure that Information Systems enhancements and projects meet end-user requirements, resolve systems issues, and achieve business results. " Support regression testing phase of software modifications in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas, and ensure successful installation. " Liaise with Business Analysts and colleagues to address Information Systems related issues, as well as integrating new development into existing systems portfolio. " Work diligently to enhance or support business intelligence initiatives. " Provide guidance to colleagues within the Information Systems team. " Ensure production support service levels are met for all business applications. " Conducts Project Meetings " Coordinate personnel for periodic reviews of prototypes and final products. " Creates and maintains project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion.
