Client Engineer in Boston, MA

KENDA Systems in currently assisting our client in the Boston, MA area in their search for a Client Engineer with at least 4 years of experience.

The ideal candidate will be part of the Client Services organization, will lead the technical effort to architect and implement campaign technical solutions for clients. The Client Engineer must possess mentoring, leadership and technical skills to teach other team members, have a point of escalation and make technical decisions based on organizational standards and guidelines.

Design responsibilities include:
Writing formal engineering specifications and developing time estimates for implementations leveraging the existing tools in the platform, HTML, WML, XSL and SQL. The candidate may also supervise the work of team members to insure that engineering efforts produce high quality, low maintenance, and scalable solutions for clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

. Working as part of an account team, collaborate with clients to customize and implement using application according to their unique marketing objectives and functional requirements (Advertisers and Publishers).
. Responsible for scope, design, and implementation of all assigned campaign project work
. Develop specifications for client request for campaign execution and any application extensions
. Provide technical leadership on all engineering work for the team
. Responsible for implementing and maintaining campaign production and QA processes that ensure high quality ad delivery for clients
. Responsible for campaign creation, including upload and edits to all campaign assets
. Responsible for guiding publishers with proper ad placement and tagging that adheres to MadX ad guidelines.
. Develop, alter and maintain dynamic ad campaign templates
. Participate in all phases of project implementation (including interfacing with development, as necessary and appropriate) and follow project plans in order to meet client deadlines, including customization of technology platform to meet specific client needs
. Provide campaign QA services
. Participate in the ongoing maintenance of client programs by trouble-shooting and developing "work-around" and fixes to problems
. Format and distribute custom reports for clients
. Work as part of account team to develop project plans and participate in sales activities as a representative of the TSM technical team
. Become expert on use and capabilities of Windcaster and MadX platforms
. Provide client training for more advanced access to Windcaster and MadX

Experience: . Strong experience with XSL, HTML, JavaScript and SQL . Knowledge of or experience with Java, JSP . Knowledge of or experience with Linux .
