PCS Tech 1 in Boston, MA

KENDA Systems i currently assisting our client in the Boston, MA area in their search for a PCS Tech I and must have knowlegde to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical power and control systems. Perform preventative maintenance work of electrical power/control equipment and lighting systems. Assist the power and control supervisor in small projects and stock keeping.

Responsibilities:

1.Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical power and control systems, and circuitry and components; repair and calibrate electrical/electronic controls as assigned.
2.Install/wire new electrical circuitry, equipment and projects.
3.Assist engineering department electrical engineer(s) in projects, power/control upgrades and changes, and electrical documentation upgrade and change.
4.Assist the Power and Control supervisor in engineering small projects, specifying, ordering, and maintaining material, and electrical documentation upgrade change.
5.Perform preventative maintenance work of electrical power/control circuitry, equipment, and lighting systems.
6.Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains high quality standards.
7.Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Requirements:

A high school or vocational school degree or equivalent plus post high school technical schooling in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Minimum three years electric power and two years control experience. Position also requires computer literacy with current technology and programmable Logic Controller literacy with current technology. Must have Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license. A Massachusetts Master Electrician License and an Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
