Summary
As an E-Commerce Applications Developer, you will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and/or existing ecommerce applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. You are familiar with the full software development lifecycle and have a track record of successful completion of projects. In addition, you have strong development, maintenance and enhancement experience using ColdFusion Studio 7, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and provide recommendation for the presentation layer design
- Design and develop user interface, business objects and database layers
- Implement and enforce the firm's security guidelines and other policy restrictions relevant to a project
- Document all procedures, and ensure seamless transfer of knowledge to the post-implementation system support team
- Work with end users to gather requirements
- Proactively participate in system design, and in delivery time lines assessment
- Create models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones
Compensation and Employment Terms
- Fulltime permanent (salaried): $70,000/year
- W-2: $40/hour
- 1099: $43/hour

Required Background/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related discipline
- 3+ years of systems development experience, with a minimum of 1 year in .NET development
- Proficiency in a variety of programming languages and tools, including ASP.NET, ColdFusion Studio 7, and SQL Server 2000/2005
Major Pluses to have
- Experience as a team lead
- Certifications in MS SQL Server, ColdFusion, or ASP.NET development
- Strong technical documentation skills
