Senior Geneva Systems Administrator in Boston, MA

Summary


As a Senior Geneva Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for providing systems and business analysis in support of the portfolio accounting function. Your primary focus is coordinating and performing intra-day and nightly batch cycle support for our vendor portfolio accounting application, Geneva, and its integration points with other systems.You should have a good understanding of operational data flows and portfolio accounting. You will review and document current support procedures to be used for training and reference purposes by a team of consultants. You will also review current procedures, identify opportunities for reducing systems downtime, and automate any unnecessary manual support processes.


Reports to: Investment Administration Systems Team Lead



Duties/Responsibilities

  • Document, track, and research production issues and work with the appropriate teams on their resolution

  • Partner with the Investment Administration business team to define and document new support requirements

  • Work with the IS project team to identify enhancements that will streamline the support function

  • Work collaboratively with Information Services and business teams across Compliance, Trading, and Investment Management to ensure that the support requirements of external teams are met

  • Review current procedures and identify opportunities for improvement that reduce systems downtime and automate any unnecessary manual support processes.

  • Provide on-call support

Required Background/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related discipline

  • +7 years experience as a systems or business analyst

  • SQL skills for querying the database and performing data analysis

  • Proficient with navigating relational databases

  • General Back Office experience with either Trade Settlements, Reconciliation, Derivative Operations, Corporate Actions, etc.
