Business Analyst ERP System in Boston, MA

Our client, a major leader in information technology is currently looking for a Bussiness Analyst ERP System to join their team in Boston, MA.

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, administering, and supporting various modules of the Lawson ERP System, as well as ancillary responsibility for development and support of other financial applications within a team environment.

Will be able to lead initiatives including interacting with the vendor and customer in an effort to design solutions.




Experience: Required Skills:

Must have 5 + years progressive experience in systems analysis/programming using specialized languages in any combination of pertinent education and experience.

Must be able to to translate high-level specifications for software components into designs and implement the designs.

Must have experience with analysis, design and implementation of business application software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems, questions or processes.

Must have experience withy Experience planning, conducting and coordinating development activities (writing code).

Must have knowledge of computer hardware and software subject matter, information processing techniques, and business information gathered from system users to develop software.

Must have experience developing detailed implementation and upgrade project plans in conjunction with other account team associates.

Must be able to classify problems as system, training, or process and work with users to correct them.

Must be able to provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Lawson

Experience with Kronos.

Experience with 4GL development

Experience with MicroFocus COBOL

SQL development experience

Healthcare industry experience

Remote hosting experience

Project management experience a plus
