Desktop Support Technician with a Leading Healthcare Firm in Boston, MA

Sr. Desktop Support Specialist

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment, excellent communication skills.
-Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
-Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Outlook
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
-Familiarity with Active Directory including a good understanding of Group Policy implementation
-Expert Knowledge with Windows security model, including NTFS file system, User Rights, Services, and Active Directory objects
-Expert Experience with Symantec Ghost required
-Experience with Dell laptops, desktops, Compaq/HP servers
-Understanding of Citrix, Cisco VPN Client, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Virtual Server and VM Ware
-Nortel PBX Phone system experience
-Good understanding of DHCP, DNS, WINS
-Exceptional writing skills for the production of clear and concise end user documentation

Experience: -Ability to partially manage corporate MS server systems (Exchange, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, print servers, system imaging, etc.)
