Audio Visual technical support in Boston, MA

Manage the technical requirements and provide technical support for daily and large corporate events.
Technical requirements include: PC projection; video-conferencing; AMX and Crestron programming/interfacing; data sharing; DVD; cable TV; VHS/Beta video and audio voice reinforcement.
Develop internal relationships (at all levels) to understand corporate changes in order to support meetings with more efficiency. Additionally work with outside engineers and consultant to stay updated on changing technologies.

Review current equipment, including maintenance, service calls, equipment use and inefficiencies. Provide necessary technical and industry information to maintain outstanding service levels and increase overall AV Technical service. Maintain inventory of audiovisual meeting equipment. Procure goods when necessary in response to client's needs and in support of departmental goals and objectives. Support preventative maintenance by consistent scheduling of conference room checks. Experience: Technical requirements include: PC projection; video-conferencing; AMX and Crestron programming/interfacing; data sharing; DVD; cable TV; VHS/Beta video and audio voice reinforcement.




Straight forward reasoning ability, basic mathematical skills, strong communications skills, visual acuity at arm's length, the ability to support oneself in an erect position, standing or sitting. An ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. The capacity to perform light physical work using repetitive motions. An ability to hear with a moderate level of background noise. Moderate proficiency with moderate supervision. Requires an ability to deal with people, follow instructions, work precisely, and possess problem-solving skills. Will be subject to internal environmental conditions.
