PC Support/IT Specialist in Boston, MA

72548 Primary responsibilities include analyzing and resolving end user's Information Systems problems by telephone, remote connections and on-site. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently a must. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of Windows XP operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite 2003 including Outlook. Previous Help Desk support experience is required. Any Server, PDA, Internet or WAN experience is a must.

Major responsibilities include:

- Analyzing and resolving end user's Information Systems problems by telephone, remote connections and on-site

- Work directly with the Help Desk team

- New User Account and PC setup

- Network, Server and Telecommunications support

- Printer and fax support and maintenance

- PC and Phone Adds, Moves, Changes

- Remote Location Support

- Special projects as assigned

- Pager required only during the workday. Off hours projects required as needed, though time off will be given to compensate for the extra time.

Qualifications:

- Strong working knowledge of PC's, PC components, and Laptops

- Good working knowledge of MSOffice2003 Suite, including Outlook

- Good working knowledge of computer networking

- Previous Help Desk experience required

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work independently a must

- Any Server, PDA, Internet or WAN experience is a must

- Ability and desire to learn new technology

- Associate's Degree in Technology (minimum)
